Accessibility Statement
Elior Bliah Photography is committed to making eliorbliah.com accessible, and follows the principles of Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is anchored to the international WCAG 2.0 standard at level AA.
Legal status
This business is registered as an osek patur (VAT-exempt dealer) under Israeli law, which carries a full, automatic exemption from the website-accessibility duty under the Service Accessibility Regulations, 2013. This statement is published voluntarily, above that legal floor.
Accessibility features already in place
- The site declares the correct language and text direction for every page (lang and dir attributes).
- A skip-to-content link is available at the start of every page for keyboard users.
- Navigation, main content, and footer regions use semantic landmark elements for screen readers, with a labeled navigation region.
- Interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) are operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Photographs carry descriptive alt text where available, falling back to the photo's title.
- An accessibility preferences widget (bottom corner of every page, or Alt+A) offers contrast, text size, line spacing, readable font, cursor, and motion controls, saved on your device.
Known limitations
Some small caption and label text on the site uses a deliberately subtle, low-contrast color as part of its visual design, which falls below the 4.5:1 ratio WCAG recommends for body text. We are reviewing this. If you hit this or anything else, please tell us using the contact details below.
